Most of the time, the rain is fairly light. London does get heavy rain occasionally, but usually it’s off-and-on misty rain. To really duplicate the experience, connect your appliances to strange switches you have to play around with to get to work, rig the toilet so that you need to push the handle down at least three times before it flushes and buy a GPS that gets you lost no matter where you try to go. That said, I really love going there, and plan on doing so again once the time is right.
my friend who visited London in the mid ’70s said the whole time he was there it was diagonal rain for 5 days, fortunately there was a nice pub in his hotel

Its hardly rained at all since April this year, the grass is even dying. Very bizarre!

When I went to England it was sunny and 70 the whole 9 days. Unprecedented.
