Definitely be open about your smoking. Don’t waste other people’s time. Gauloises always make me think of my childhood before my father quit smoking but that habit is an almost guaranteed dealbreaker for me.

arsmall, in the last weeks we’ve seen two of Mona’s personalities; there may be more. Perhaps “A young women…” is appropriate.
On the other hand, “young…in my 20’s” is redundant. Given that Mona’s a professional writer, she should know better.
