Adam: You've got your wing-always on the attack, the versatile center, or the noble defenseman. Clayton: Actually, I was thinking goalie. Adam: Goalie? The thing about playing goalie, son...is even when you win, you pay the price. Clayton: Like when Nick threw up in your car? Adam: And how exactly was that a "win"? Clayton: I didn't have to clean it up, but I had to smell it.

I remember playing field hockey in school and the last thing I wanted to play was goalie.

i spent many years in hockey playing mostly as a goalie. goalies are born, not made. if someone wants the position, encourage them. in my eighth grade class, our best goalie was a girl, and we were friends right through high school in part because of that.
