    … and make America a better place as well! Finally great to have a president who we can be proud of!

    Israel has nukes, we’re trying to design “mini” nuclear power plants for poor countries, and Iran trying to generate electricity with the atom is automatically a weapon? We’ve rejected all offers from other countries to control their weapons grade potential. BTW, the same folks promoting MORE nuclear plants at home are against Iran using them. Ah, but nuclear power is “safe” if only our “friends” use it.

    In all honesty dt…Iran has a certain level of “Scary crazy” that many other countries don’t have. They’re not the only ones. But they are the subject of this ‘toon. It would be great if they had something to reduce unemployment -which would probably calm a lot of the citizenry- which would probably make them more peaceful. But I confess I’d rather it be making yo-yos out of wood and string than be nuclear power.

    Sooky Rottweiler says;

    Have you humans ever noticed how chihuahuas always bark their eyes out while really dangerous dogs keep quiet until they bite? My human says men do the same thing about their sexuality; they talk more than they act. Well maybe that’s what mr. Nutjab is doing there. Really dangerous leaders don’t blab, they act like Hitler when he was invading left and right and Russia last summer. Maybe he’s just bluffing. Remember, nuclear weapons are dissuasive weapons, they are not nearly as useful as the fear they generate. So why bother with the nuke when people are already afraid of you?

    churchillwasright is right. Hitler’s plan was pretty open. You just had to wade through Mein Kampf to get to it – a major challenge!

    Dtrout, some points to ponder: Why would a country with so much oil beneath its land need nuclear power? Has any other country that said it needs nuclear energy, also threaten to “wipe Israel off the map” because they think it has no right to exist?

    They are gonna do what they wanna do, anyway. If we all destroy each other, then the carbon dioxide can fight with the oxygen; because that is all that would be left, anyway.

    My point is, if Ahmadinejad was half as nut as he pretends to be, Israel wouldn’t exist as we speak. I don’t think he really wants to wipe any patch of land off the map, he just wants the power our fear of him and his nukes grant him.

    woah back up there and examine what you said. A. Isreal is surronded by nations on all sides who have expressed intent to annihilate it. B. Nuclear Power is the DETERENT to prevent them getting attacked. It holds the stalemate.

    To deter what? They got the bomb before Iran did. It caused this situation, it didn’t respond to it.
