Acoustics may be excellent on a stereo system, but to my mind nothing can replace the intensity of a live performance. To hear a really top-notch orchestra, I’d definitely pay the $88 if I had it (though as a musician, having it is another problem! ;) )
I don’t mind the thought of having to pay that much for a concert ticket (I was in the band and orchestra in high school and have a lot of respect for the efforts that professional musicians put into their music) …. what I DO mind is the somewhat arrogant and elitist tone in the last panel by the window clerk. THAT would set me off.
Next time she should buy her ticket in advance-no sticker shock at the window on the day of-more time to adjust and budget for it ;)
