Red: Some people think April is the best month to fish potholes. Not me, brother. Give me bone-chilling cold, wet, raw, windy November weather any old day! Rover: Why's that? Red: Do you see any other fisherman out here?!
I live on a lake and we have people fishing off the bridge every day. They are all Russians, so they seem content no matter what the weather. Entire families will be there. It is sweet watching grandpas teach little boys the art.

Sounds like fun and the only time of the year where you’d have some breathing room on the beaches. But I think I’ll stick to the Kemah boardwalk. At least there are shops and eateries close by to warm up in and they won’t be as crowded as they will be in Galveston.

Its like being on the beach in Galveston in December - just you and 5 other idots dressed for the North Slope. Wonderful.
