Woman: Let me tell you something about the villages, Liz. Outsiders don't stay long... 2 years, maybe 3. It's interesting and educational, but unless you were born up there, it will never be "home". Elizabeth: I know. Woman: You'll meet the government people, pilots, healthcare workers, teachers, police... they stay for a while, and then they leave. Elizabeth: Why are you telling me this? Woman: It's easy to get lonely and fall for the wrong guy. I've seen a lot of broken hearts come out of the north. It's not just famous for the fishing!

That’s kind of sad but also kind of not. On the positive side, it does help the Northern villages keep their identity
