Jim: I'm getting better, Elly. But Iris keeps treating me like an invalid! You know what "invalid" means: in-valid! Useless! Not good for anything! Elly: She's doing the best she can, Dad. Jim: I know...but I'm used to going to the store, having a bath...making my own tea, for heavens' sake! I don't want to be taken care of. Elly (out of frame): I know (in frame) ...because, you were the one who always took care of everyone else!
