John: It's sure nice to have you home. Elly: It was a long drive, John. But it was worth it. Elizabeth is nicely settled into her place again, and classes have started. I don't think she'll be here for Christmas, so it was nice to have a little more time with her. Quality time...is priceless.

I feel the same way looking at my kids’ bedrooms when they return to college after a visit…knowing that someday, soon enough, they will move out on their own.
