In the 50’s, it was make yourself a peanut butter sandwich, wrap it in waxed paper, put a rubber band around it and take it down to the creek and have a picnic.
summerdog i remember hearing that , but we didn’t live close to a creek until the mid 60’s ,and it was a lot of fun more kids showed up every day
Michael looked so dirty after he played outside. Elly, make something quickly so Michael will not whine for being a hungry.
Fish Stix: There were no microwaves in the ‘50’s. We didn’t even have toaster ovens until the 60’s.
