Poor Dad was NOT ready for this one!

I wonder if Liõ is a vegetarian? It makes sort of sense, what with his attacks on hunters and the like.

It’s the Turkey’s chance to get even.

That turkey’s got CLAWS on its WINGS! That’s just wrong. Sorry, Lio, but … no. Although … the reaction of the crowd at the parade … nah, still no.

I’M going vegetarian now.

I really don’t want to know where Lio inserted the nozzle of his bicycle pump.

oh come ON! when has a little thing like a too small door ever stopped Lio? he’ll just rip out the side of the garage or something.

Wow, a bicycle pump filled with helium! Now that’s a terrific invention!

i wonder what happened to dad’s car.

btw i purchased the new lio book, ‘astonishing tales, etc’ yesterday – fantastic stuff including the origins and early strips, plus commentary by mt. highly recommended.

Mark, I am a huge fan of Gahan Wilson. He has the same skewed snse of humor. The way the “turkey” is done here reminds so much of his style.

I absolutely love Lio also alot for the same reasons. So does my son (he’s 12)
