simple, yet says so much
Diet? That’s die with a “t” right?
why is he standing on the table in the first place?
garfield is much to fat. but that partly makes the comic funny

that’s pretty much a standard setting in the Garfield comics.
Shorty, Garfield needs to be level with Jon to make most of his remarks, so Mr. Davis usually gives him a table to stand on.
