Okay. “Native American”. A bunch of Politically Correct hoohah.

I am a Native American. Yes, my ancestors from England, Scotland and Eastern Europe/Asia (two of my great-grandfathers came from Bohemia.)

    But i was born here.

The American Indian’s ancestors came from Eastern Asia. Yes, they walked (Bering Land Bridge), while mine came by boat, but humanity did not evolve on this continent.

The Canadian term, “First Tribes” or “First Americans” is accurate. “Native American” is not. (Referring to a current controversy - bet they can’t produce birth certificates for their ancestors.)

I prefer Indigenous. Indian refers to someone from India.
