Poncho: Excuse me, I don't think my dog-rehab partner is conducive to my recovery. Dog: Why is that? Poncho: Well, for starters, he's a cat. Dog: Some folks have further to go to get better. Poncho: Yeah, but he's fully a cat. I don't think he's supposed to be in here. Dog: Everyone has the right to get help. Poncho: He's licking his paw and rubbing the saliva on his face. Dog: Sounds like he could really use a hug right now.

Some dogs also clean themselves that way. Although they may have learned it from cats…
