Pooch Cafe by Paul Gilligan for October 14, 2009
Transcript:
Poncho: Psst! Hey, Gordy the Bordy! Dog: Oh, hey, Poncho. Poncho: This cat and I are "on the lamb"! We need a place to hide out! Can we cover ourselves with wool and pretend to be sheep? Dog: Yeah I guess so. But you'll have to jump to my commands when I bark. Otherwise, you'll blow the illusion. Poncho: Gol dang that guy...!

Poncho got the wool pulled over his eyes.

Hey………
Get you someone really to pull the wool with you.” Wooly bully, wooly bully. Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully.

They got the wool pulled over their eyes by being on the lamb. Bah. But cute.
We’ve been through half a dozen movies to get here in the plot, but I can’t put my finger on this one.

Next they’ll go over to “The Barn” and hang with Rory.

I can’t believe that cat is still hanging with Poncho. They’re not chained together so he should go his own way and leave Poncho to his own comical designs.

“The Odyssey” by Homer

I wonder why the border collie would have Poncho and the cat wash his master’s car. I’d think he’d make him do something for him not his master.
I’m sort of waiting for this to turn into “The Incredible Journey” in which two dogs and a cat are separated from their human family and have to travel a long distance to find them. At the beginning they don’t know each other at all but through the journey they get to know each other and become good friends.

Poncho makes for one ugly sheep. LOL

The word is “lam” , not lamb. To be on the lamb means they would be riding Rory.

I’ve heard of black sheep and white sheep, but… (Are these related to pink elephants?)

bahnda, it was a pun, based on the words being pronounced the same.
And Macushla, it’s clear that, being as cat-oriented as you’ve often shown yourself to be, you simply don’t understand. Border collies live to serve, and Gordy the Bordy would of course put Poncho and the cat to work doing something useful for his master. If Gordy were a cat, then of course his only thought would have been “What’s in it for ME?”

(this is not the most user-friendly site i’v seen; and, the other comics are mostly hideous and/or childish)
So. this is the real world in facial expression, plus situation.
actually the only one I have online, and never fails for a giggle, some large.
actually, this wolf (man) in sheeps’ (cows’) clothing thing is pretty frightening no matter how many times it comes at you.
p.s. I love Fish. and the less-lines cats so true and Poncho of Course.
