Charlie Brown stands on the field in his football helmet. He exclaims, "SIGNALS! One! Six! Three! Two! Five! HIKE!"<BR><BR> He looks at Lucy questioningly as she runs up to him. Lucy, also wearing a football helmet, shouts, "TIME OUT!"<BR><BR> She leans over to him and whispers, "Say, Charlie Brown...about the way you call those signals..."<BR><BR> He frowns to the reader as she concludes, "I think you should try mixing up the numbers instead of saying them in their right order!"<BR><BR>

Leave it to Schulz to make boys and girls playing football together look like the most natural thing in the world. And Charlie Brown’s female teammate isn’t the relatively tall and highly athletic Patty, but the younger and much smaller Lucy.
