Charlie Brown asks, "Did you do this, Linus?"<br> <br>He continues, "Gee..I think that's amazing!"<br> <br>He asks,"Don't you think so, Lucy?" She replies, "Oh, Yes.."<br> <br> She walks off and asks, "But is it art?"<br> <br>

“True art takes at least an hour.” I remember Lucy saying that at some point…I think Linus had spent 45 minutes drawing a horse and she ripped it up, declaring it “not art”.

Reminds me of this Peanuts strip that was featured in one of those “View Master” toys from 50 years ago(I forgot about those, until just now-you inserted this reel of colored photo prints and turned the reel by pressing on a lever to view each image one by one ), anyway, the premise was that Charlie Brown kept trying to build a simple small house of cards, then finally succeeded, BUT when he saw the GIANT house of cards Linus had built, it ended with him throwing a fit and exclaiming “I can’t stand smart Alecky kids!”
