"Is that your head, Charlie Brown, or is the moon out early today?" Lucy taunts as Charlie Brown walks past.<br> <br> He says, "Boy, you sure think you're smart, don't you?" They stare at each other.<br> <br>"I oughta sock you right on the nose!" He leans towards her with a raised fist.<br> <br> "You can't hit me, Charlie Brown! I'm a GIRL!" Lucy smiles smugly.<br> <br> "NYAHH!!" Lucy sticks her tongue out. Charlie Brown shudders with rage.<br> <br> "NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH!" Lucy sticks out her tongue and wiggles her hands over her ears at Charlie Brown's retreating back.<br> <br> SHe stands there: "?"<br> <br> "Here, now! You stop that! Stop that, I say!!" Lucy runs, yelling.<br> <br> "You stop kicking our house!" Lucy yells at Charlie Brown, who stands at the side of her house and kicks it repeatedly.<br> <br>

Lucy’s expression in Panel 4 is too much;if it really was “politically incorrect”back in the day for a male to hit a female in general, I’m glad CB had managed to get Lucy back by kicking her house.

Which is why I think Lucy is such a truly horrid individual. She regularly assaults the boys, especially Linus and Charlie Brown, trusting that the boys’ ethics will prevent them from retaliating. She’s a bully and a coward.
