Transcript:
"Boy, I've seen you looking depressed, but I've never seen you looking THIS depressed!" Lucy comments to Charlie Brown, who sits hunched over the curb. She stands behind him.(BR BR) "I'm a rat!" he announces glumly.(BR BR) "I feel terrible! I hate myself!!" Lucy looks at Charlie Brown; he closes his eyes in disgust.(BR BR) They stand at the wall. He explains: "I was sitting on the floor working a puzzle, and my little baby sister came crawling over. She messed it up, and I yelled at her, and she cried...And I hate myself!"(BR BR) "I shouldn't have yelled at her...She's only a baby...I feel terrible!" He walks away, hunched over. Lucy watches him thoughtfuly.(BR BR) Lucy consoles him: "I understand what you're going through...Don't forget that Linus was a baby once, too...I had the same problem...I used to feel the same way that you do..." Linus walks past them, reading.(BR BR) "HEY! IS THAT MY COMIC BOOK YOU'RE READING?" She demands as Linus passses in front of them.(BR BR) "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO LEAVE MY THINGS ALONE?!" Lucy yells, grabbing the book back from Linus. He cowers.(BR BR) "IF I CATCH YOU WITH ANOHTER ONE OF MY COMIC BOOKS, I'LL CHASE YOU CLEAR OUT OF THE COUNTRY!" She threatens, holding the comic book rolled up in her hand.(BR BR) Lucy and Charlie Brown stand looking off to one side. [PANEL 11]: She concludes: "But I got over it!"(BR BR)
