Interestingly, the Romans often enough used personal names that are number words in Latin. 5 would be âQuintusâ, and his sisters 3 and 4 would be âTertiaâ and âQuartaâ. Personal names derived from numbers arenât really rare in many other languages either, most notably in East Asian languages. For instance General Isoroku Yamamotoâs given name is written as äșćć , meaning â56â, the age of his father when he was born.
