When I was a little kid, I used to have the book,“There’s a Vulture Outside,”which contained a number of Sunday strips from this general era, including this one. I used to wonder just what Patty (would have)done, with Linus, following the last panel, where he’s telling her about the Three Little Pigs, RIGHT AFTER FALLING INTO HER POOL, NO LESS—had she ordered him out, or what? Makes you wonder, I think, partly with Linus’ slightly “mad” personality(like the Great Pumpkin, for one thing.) Anyway, makes you wonder what Patty had done with him, right after last panel.

Looks like an extended version of the strip from May 12, 1962, where Snoopy already gives Linus an ample demonstration of how much he can huff and puff. He seems to have forgotten.

This was adapted into the animated special “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown”, although in that, the victim was Lucy, and when she ends up in Patty’s pool, she just grumbles “That dog is gonna drive us crazy!”
