Back in the fifty’s Phillipine Mahogany was almost cheaper than pine. Ferdinand and Imelda made millions with practically slave labor selling it to the U.S. I am sure they were clearcutting!

If the current economic crisis stops even one “developer” in my area from contributing to the continuous housing sprawl and clearing of every woodland in my county, then I hope this economic crisis NEVER ends!
