    Back in the fifty’s Phillipine Mahogany was almost cheaper than pine. Ferdinand and Imelda made millions with practically slave labor selling it to the U.S. I am sure they were clearcutting!

    etocme- Maybe that whole Earth orbiting the Sun theory is a fallacy too. I swear, you conservatives that dispute any science that doesn’t serve your ‘deregulate at any cost’ principles, are downright dangerous.

    If the current economic crisis stops even one “developer” in my area from contributing to the continuous housing sprawl and clearing of every woodland in my county, then I hope this economic crisis NEVER ends!
