Keep in mind also it’s the 1960’s. That’s when the episodes on that series were first-run.

It specifically says: “Don’t waste your ‘DAY’ away watching TV inside”. It said nothing of evening, meaning any time after 6PM.

Yes reception was better when you placed a TV set outdoors. Try doing that these days with digital TV!

I would think the reception would be even better with digital…as long as you’ve got the right TV and rabbit ears for the job.

I would Not want to be watching TV outside right now. At 6:15 p.m. it’s still 105 degress!
