    Keep in mind also it’s the 1960’s. That’s when the episodes on that series were first-run.

    Not a bad picture for rabbit ears of that time. Maybe’s the receptions’ better outdoors.

    But wait a minute. Wasn’t Star Trek on only at night back then. The syndication of and therefore showing of episodes during the day only started happening in the ‘70’s.

    It specifically says: “Don’t waste your ‘DAY’ away watching TV inside”. It said nothing of evening, meaning any time after 6PM.

    Yes reception was better when you placed a TV set outdoors. Try doing that these days with digital TV!

    When I used to watch TV, I loved watching it out on my deck on a sunny day.

    I would think the reception would be even better with digital…as long as you’ve got the right TV and rabbit ears for the job.

    I would Not want to be watching TV outside right now. At 6:15 p.m. it’s still 105 degress!
