We used to play special effects guys with our army men, burying firecrackers in the sand and then arranging the army men to suit.

I also remember that the army men disappeared with black cats and ladyfingers, two things that added realism to my adventures with army men.

The only Army Men me and kids play with these days are the ones on PlayStation I&II.
