Nice to know there are more husbands that canât find anything; must be a man thing; if itâs not in front of him, he doesnât move things around to find it. Besides, Opal had those concealed in her left sleeve, right? LOL
I for one donât give a first rip whether my socks match. When theyâre clear down there in my boots, I canât see them anyway and neither can anyone else. What I donât see, wonât hurt me. Besides that, they match my feetâŠthatâs all that really matters.
Sent it to my wife. After 28 years, this is the only thing that still bugs me to heck. I put something down for a minute (no, I am not a slob, I am the neat freak in the family!) and she takes it upon herself to move it. But her stuff?!?!?!? Sheâll leave it in a pile (thatâs organizing, donât ya know?) for weeks on end. Upon speaking with my gender brethren, I think women have an innate need to move stuff that isnât thereâs. Mothers, wives, girlfriends all do it.
I know where most things are in this pig sty we call a room but one thing i can never find that my husband can find for me are my shoes⊠sometimes it isnât my fault his dog like to hide them on me
I donât know if any of you remember the book called âSnigletsâ - words made up to define things that had no words - such as where missing socks goâŠto the âhozoneâ. Or, when Earl & Opal were grinning at each other at the table, checking for food particlesâŠthe particles would be called âlubsâ.

What is it about women and their detection devices.. or what is it about men and our inability to find anything?

I just want to know⊠whereâs the missing sock after laundry? Thereâs always one missing⊠and where the heck do those socks go?

Oh theyâre out there in the atmosphere somewhere. Someday I think God will open the missing sock drawer in heaven and weâll find all of them.

The socks are being kept up there for us when we retire. He doesnât want us looking for socks later!!

I thought I was the only one who had missing socks.
Hopefully that missing sock drawer will have socks that match, otherwise Iâd feel like I put on a black shoe and a brown shoe.

Get Jon Arbuckle, Earl Pickles. That man really knows how to organize his sock drawer.

Of course itâs always in the last place you look - because once you find it you stop looking!
