^ how true, and now his daughter is everywhere too. Which leads me to believe that part of why Cheney is suddenly popping up everywhere after years of hiding out is help his daughter run for office. After all this time, Cheney has finally, finally, said there is no evidence to link Sadaam to 9/11 to improve his image so it won’t be such a drag on his daughter’s chance for office, something she has apparently already said she plans to do.
I may be a liberal, but I have doubts that he really (really) hopes for another attack on America, unless he’s way more childish than I ever thought he was.
Actually, Jeb is nonelectable, for two reasons: (1) his brother, and (2) his wife. Which in some ways is too bad, because he’s the only one who inherited at least some of his father’s brains and internationalism, apart from his politically-motivated forays into lunacy like the Teri Schiavo case. Even my Kennedy Democrat mother liked Jeb (she knew him slightly) and pointed him out to me as a contender long ago.
