As an older Plugger with only 2 at home, I dislike the new coupons where to get a decent savings, you must buy 2 to qualify. The manufacturers are trying to help stores lower the cost of double/triple coupon policies. It’s that or a measly 30 cents off - no fun for dedicated couponeer Pluggers :(
arceedee, Now I see they are going to “buy 3 get $1.00 off!” What a rip-off on the consumer. Most of it is stuff you wouldn’t buy 3 of! And they keep raising the prices and lowering the size of the package! Does the smaller amount of detergent in these new detergent packages REALLY get your clothes clean?
Right you are Drystyha… and my hubby and married kids remarked only this week how many items - coffee, paper towels, tuna, etc., have newly been marked UP by packaging quantities DOWN. If they do this gradually and often (trying to throw smoke over the price change), pretty soon we’ll be paying them for empty boxes & cans =(

The Sunday newspaper has lots of coupons but they are never for things that you need!

yep coupons are always for the really good stuff, like cereal and corn dogs. It costs about 12 cents to manufacture a $4.75 box of cereal
