    Yes, back in the early 50’s, I remember those old tvs with the 12” black and white screens. Lots of “snow” always in the picture(no cable -just inadequate antennas). Never forgot the time someone from New York said that when you watch a baseball game on tv there, you could actually see the baseball! Then, when the color tv’s came out a few years later, you had to constantly adjust them (and repair them). Back then, instead of HD, is was HR (high repair).

    Tigger, you didn’t need a remote back then. You looked in TV Guide, then selected one of the 5 channels you got. You needn’t have wondered what was on one of the other 96 channlels like we do now.
