“Days of Our Lives” which debuted on NBC-TV
I have never cared for soap operas, real life is enough and the “actors” are real. Soap opera actors don’t know how to act, except for the females flexing their figures and the males flexing their muscles. What a waste of time - not like gocommics, of course!!! LOL
I loved it! Been watching Days of Our LIves since I was about 10, when it first came on the air! Still record it every day and watch it when I get home from work! My hour of peace and relaxation!

Soaps usually train a lot of talented actors when they begin.

A surprising number of good actors started out on soaps and graduated to real acting.
