Voice on TV: President Bush addressed a black church today, outlining his various civil rights initiatives in the wake of his stake against affirmative action at the University of Michigan. Said Bush, "What I love about black churches is that you all will clap for any white politician who shows up and talks to you, regardless of their policy positions." Bush then declared Black History Month an illegal set-aside program. He received a standing ovation.
