Huey: The problems of the black underclass are neither completely the fault of the white man nor the black community itself. These issues are complicated! For example...if a man can't find a job because the government lets corporations move all the jobs overseas, that's the white man's fault! Granddad: Right! But if that same man sells crack because he can't find a job, that's his fault. Huey: Well, his and the Reagan Administration's, I guess...

If a person can’t find a job because corporations have moved all the jobs overseas, that is NOT the fault of the “White man”. That’s the fault of greedy business owners. Their skin color has nothing to do with it. While yes, whites make up the overwhelming majority of rich business owners, it’s not because of their skin color. Not directly anyway. White people have been in the United Stated the longest. Whites have always had rights in this country, allowing for whites to better succeed. Other races began as poor immigrant workers, or worse slaves. They had to work up from that to achieve the influence and success in this country. But so did many white immigrants. Whites also are poor and came over as poor immigrants. Not all whites have ancestry that have been in this country since the beginning. While racism is still a horrible thing that exists in this country, you can clearly see more and more success of minorities in business, in movies and all around. Racism isn’t as big of an issue as Aaron McGruder seems to imply in his comics.
But WTF would I know? I’m just an overly privileged white boy that is 22, can’t find a job and can’t get the money or aid for any sort of schooling.
