Sorry, nope, Iām still me. No matter what day it is, Iām me; no matter who the president is, Iām still me; it doesnāt matter what Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears does or what pop-culture dictates, Iāll be me; if all the governments of all the countries in the world are dissolved, Iāll be me; if the world ecomony colapses and we all end up living in caves and eating tree bark (dibs on the apple), Iāll still be me. And thatās because Iām the one who controls who I am, all that other stuff is out of my control and temporary (even - gasp! - who the president is). And Iām ok with that.
Even the crazy media couldnāt keep the reality of America and Americans down. I laugh in the faces of all the media that said the election was going to be close. Can you spell ālandslideā?
Well, Iām still meā¦ but I think we (as a nation) are finally realizing that even ātho I am me (and that will never change) I am not the only person in the whole, wide world and if weāre going to be successful as a nation we may have to learn to get alongā¦ā¦..
Thanks for the concer, JPuzzleWhiz, but itās good to be me. I just donāt like the suggestion that my perception of myself or of the world is going to change because thereās a new president. Thatās way too much to expect from one guy.
