ol’ sharkie must have designed the rest of GM cars, not just Caddys in ‘59….those were all BIG BIG cars with BIG trunks , huge engines and you could fit 4 adults abreast in the cavernous back seat……no seat belts and a huge metal dashboard……style and panache , that’s all that counted!
My father-in-law dropped some history on me when I sent this. He was the manager over the Seville STS that won so many awards. “That is one version of the birth of the Cadillac fins. The Cadillac History books indicate that they were inspired by the dual fuselage P-38 pursuit fighter plane from WWII.”
