The judge was warned about her because she was known for seducing the writers she represented. Her assistant took the judge up the secret stairway to the roof. Maybe this suicide scene has been staged as part of a plot to get the judge to stray.
(Phantom) Beautiful use of colors in today’s strip.(Rex Morgan) Keep the boat and take Berna on a fishing trip. Maybe she’ll see how much fun it is and calm down a little.(Judge Parker) Picara – That’s a good theory.In today’s strip, I see the Judge has made some real progress. She is now turned around and facing him instead of the street.(Mark Trail) Is he on government land or private property? Either way, he’s liable to get in trouble.(Apartment 3-G)(Mary Worth) This is the first time I’ve ever read this strip. When I was a kid it was for grown-ups so I never read it.(Annie) Chapter 9 of “Little Orphan Annie and Sandy” is at Today’s Annie Comic.
(Phantom) Welcome back davidf42. I too have been noticing the beautiful use of colors in this storyline. P. has now made it to the Llongo Village and it must be nightfall or nighttime (i.e., the torches).
(Mark Trail) Hopefully John has a hunting license, davidf42. Mark knows the local farmers are accusing John, “the mountain man,” of stealing their livestock, but he doesn’t know that the local Sheriff’s son has accused him of stealing from electronics stores.
(Mary Worth) Either Liza peeked at some hospital records or she went zabasearching on the Internet.
(FoxTrot) I always try to get the gist of the strip in Spanish, before checking out the English version. I didn’t do too well today…but I did recognize “corazon” as “heart” (panel 1).
Foxtrot- Paige has math anxiety. Dissection doesn bother her.At least that’s what her friend thinks.A3G – Maybe Aunt Iris was like Della Reese on “Touched by an Angel”.Rex – Dex seems in touch with reality now. Craig’s list is a good idea. Somehow I can’t see Dex and Berna out on a boat, but maybe Rex and June would. I think they have a daughter.JP – Yes, some progress. The Judge doesn’t feel his writing is as fulfillng as his law career. People didn’t show much sadness when the boss got hit by a bus because she wasn’t well-liked. This gave Connie her big break. A faked death would be a long way to go for a seduction and why would the others go along with it? But I could be wrong.MW – No, Liza! Your job is taking care of patients! Reminds of an old Cary Grant movie, the title I can’t remember. But the female lead did research to find his clothing size, favorite color, etc. and this was loong before Goggle. Also seems a long way to go for a seduction.Phantom – *In native tongue. Gee, I’m glad they translated for us. The native tongue may not even have a written form.
Rex- Old Dex is no different then the thousands of people whoare scammed everyday in the U S. Three yrs. ago I bought a boat, motor & trailer, now does that make me “goofy” No, it’sgreat to spend time on the water, fresh air & sunshine
