Julie Larson’s comic strip is the highlight of my day, everyday. I check out gocomics first thing…and no wonder. The Dinette Set has me shaking me head every time! When I think I’ve been disgusted enough, the Penny’s top it! Go Julie. Luv you

Marguerite — Quite likely, especially if you can get it from an improperly microwaved, out-of-date frozen entree. Of course if it IS the flu, Joy can’t get it from Burl drinking his tea out of her coffee mug, because they’re married, so she’s immune to him. Especially after she sprays him with Lysol. Sigh….time to haul anchor, Patty, in case it’s catching. And not just the flu.

You mean Joy has to have a to do list to remind her to wash her hands?? No wonder he is sick! And she will be next herself. No blankie for her!

Lave sus manos! Poor Joy and Burl, eternally clueless.**************On a much, much brighter note, 48 years ago today a gorgeous blonde took leave of her senses and married a simple sailor. Thankfully she hasn’t put me out of her misery since then, cuz as her father told me at the time, “It ain’t against the law in Texas for a woman to murder her husband.” Since he was a lawyer, I figured he knew something I didn’t and acted accordingly all these years. What a grand and glorious journey it has been!
