Doc: Let's be cautious E.B... these are primitive times. People in this century still, on occasion, resort to verbal aggression. EB3: Verbal aggression? Really? Doc: Indeed, I once inadvertently stepped on a newly poured concrete path, and a workman made some form of cryptic hand gesture and said, "eschew you." EB3: "Eschew you"? Doc: Yes. I believe that's what he said. EB3: So... so what do we do if someone attacks us like that? Doc: We mustn't show weakness! We must be prepared to give as good as we get! Man: Word up, dudes. Doc + EB3: Eschew you!

For their sakes, good thing they misinterpreted the hand gesture as well…Better a “peace” sign than in pieces, eh?

Sounds more like ‘excuse you’.Yeesh. Mainstream cartoonists have to so careful… Foxtrot once had Jason talking about Peter liking ‘folk’ music (I think not too long before the daily strips ended) because the lyrics kept saying ‘folk’ this and ‘folk’ that.Gotta love it.

I went to Eschew U. Got shafted in the end. Skateboarder’s shirt should have read “eschew obfuscation, espouse elucidation”.
