Just a note, the CTRL+ALT+Right Arrow (to view yesterday’s comic) thing only works if you have on-board Intel graphics with the Intel driver set up to do it on the fly. Many, but not all computers have this feature. It sure is handy though! For extra points, try using the mouse while the screen is sideays!
Other than the fact, that cartoon character generally don’t feel pain (they are mental creatures born of the artist’s brain), did anyone stop to think that the bacon rain cooled between skillet and the tongue?
Heh, our one dog is a total food hound and has to be ordered out of the kitchen all the time. She’s dashed in and gobbled a fallen tidbit more than once, even though it was too hot – we didn’t grab her fast enough. Never seemed to have bothered her, although a couple times, she did head for the water bowl pretty quickly.

One of the first things I taught my sons about cooking – never cook bacon without a shirt on.

Indeed. When it comes to fallen food bits, dogs have no sensation of pain.
