“He claims he invented it”No, he didn’t. Go back and read the transcript of that speech. He claimed to have helped it along. A reporter wrote an article claiming he made that claim and others reported on that. That’s right up there with alleging Saddam helping plan 9/11.
HOWGOZIT, you are flat wrong on this one. Gore helped fund the DARPA initiatives that led to the Internet, specifically the ARPANET. (I know one of the team personally.) Gore never claimed to “invent” the Internet. Read the facts and get straight.
When an entire book has to be written to try and describe what you REALLY meant in one sentence that you uttered in a speech, you are not presidential material…
