I like the “Sleeping Giant” in the green hills……….Thom…….I prefer the Scenic View rather than that of the actual view…..:)))
Take that painting to Antique Road Show and seehow much it’s worth.
the “Sleeping Giant” is in Thunder Bay. i got a photo of it from the lookout on Mount McKay back in 2008.
Looks to me like that artist had a slightly different interpretation of that scenic view than I do.
Where can I find that artist for my real estate ad?
I guess he was invisioning what he wanted to see. Since he could afford to go there!
I wonder what the artist was smoking?
yyyguy – I wouldn’t doubt that that was what Thom was going for… he does live in Toronto aka YYZ which is only an 18 hour drive from T-Bay.
Oh Marcy, if you’re inspired go get your own paints and easel.
So that makes this toon a web posting of a caricature of a scenic view of the artist’s rendering of a senic view?
The artist has a wonderful imagination .
A very clever concept today Thom….
Marcia, Mick J wants his lips back…….☻
It’s scenic views all the way down.
Looks almost like two sleeping giants until I tilt my head to the left a bit and then it’s one rather bactrian giant.
I’m inspired!
Faces—both in the rendering and along the horizon.++++++This is just the opposite of René Magritte’s The Human Condition.
Even before Photoshop, there was Photoshopping.
Artist are always free to do interpretation. Especially with my murals, I have often done a great revision of a view to fill the space and make it more effective.
It’s all in the eyes of the beholder! Love it!
