Ryan plan health care-vouchers- for all you lucky enough to be 55 and younger!
Paul Ryan: We've cut it up so everyone gets their own piece!!
Bropst is back at it again. Returning the top tax rate to 90% is his answer to everything. How that would add jobs is a mystery, though. And it isn’t the top 2% who own 85% of the nations wealth. It is the middle class, including professionals, managers, and college grads. The same bunch that pays income taxes. Geez, I wish he would get his facts straight.
@hotdogger his point is that when more people have money, they create actual jobs. The top 2% don’t create any more jobs than they have to; slashing jobs is always their first step in making their new bad investments look profitable on the books. They hoard money like a game where the goal is a numerical high score. The rest of us only hoard for life’s emergencies; everything else goes back into the economy.
At least be honest: it’s ROMNEYCARE, not Obamacare. It was fully approved and praised by the GOP until Obama was forced to take it instead of his first OR second choice (due as much to wimpy Democrats as naysaying Republicans), at which point it suddenly became pure evil, of course. That meant that any GOP plan must make even less sense than Romneycare to distinguish itself, but as Heinlein wisely noted, never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

He’s shoving those stumps somewhere else with his plan, and not using “H” to make ’em slide in easier.

Return the top rate to 90% and there will be jobs and medicare for everyone. The problem is the 2% hoarding 85% of the nation’s wealth.
