Call me crazy, but in that first panel, it still looks to me like Rip is trying to stand up. But I guess that’s a moot point now that the python is putting the squeeze on Jack Spade! :-) Beaucoup HUGPOUNCESZZZ to one and all, and have a fun yet safe holiday weekend celebrating the independence of the U.S. of A.!

Did Rip ever have the temerity to ask his mom for five more minutes sleep? he probably got extra live-fire obstacle course training before breakfast just for that.
