Max: Don't worry. He looks like a fierce one. Calvin: Yep. Mandibles of death. That's what he's got. Max: ...And a killer's eye. You can tell. I...I think I'll go downstairs. Calvin: Ol' Uncle Max seems pretty sharp. Hard to believe he's related to Dad. Hobbes: "A killer's eye," he said! Wow! I wonder which one!

I’m surprised no one mentioned the lettering error. In panel 2, when Max says “He looks like a fierce one” the “a” is missing a line.
