Wait a second, Mars’ atmosphere is primarily carbon dioxide and the temperature is around -70 F. They would be dead in milliseconds.

Because that’s the only impossible thing to happen up to this point in the arc? I mean, travelling to mars in a wagon in the speed of a couple of hours. Or having that wagon break earths gravity by going over a little ramp. This is clearly only in his imagination.

No, wehrler is right. It all makes sense up to now, but this just totally breaks the suspension of disbelief.*(Poker face twitches and then LB breaks into guffaws of laughter.)

Calvin’s imaginations make us feel like we’re with him even though it could never happen in the real life. I say enjoy the ride. :)

“We’ve got a whole new comic to ourselves. Brand new and unspoiled. Brand new and unspoiled. No people. No pollution. Nothing but rugged natural beauty as far as the eye can see.”

    .

“That’s not your quibble over there is it?”
