Fortunately those unsocks can be easily returned and exchanged for some real socks. I prefer calf-length tube socks, to the chagrin and embarrassment of my children.
I like how fashion trends change. It used to be men wore short shorts with knee high socks. Now they wear ankle socks with capri…I mean short pants. When did showing your knees become “unmasculine”?

I feel the same way about socks like that. If it doesn’t have something that goes around my ankle, it is not an ankle sock. It is a bootie.
