Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for March 25, 1989
Transcript:
Susie: Here comes the bus, Calvin. It's hopeless. Calvin: There's a bug! Susie: You're wasting your time! The teacher is going to know you didn't spend any time on this insect collection. Calvin: Stall the bus driver. Susie: We're supposed to have 50 insects! You'll be lucky to have any! Calvin: Got it! Can you tell what kind it is? Scrape it off. Susie: Get away from me!

I honestly can’t blame Calvin for not having this done. This insect project is almost the same assignment I did for my freshman Biology class in high school. I was fourteen years old, and I was given three months to do it. Twelve insects were required. Calvin is six years old. He had one month to do it. Fifty insects. It’s kind of a miracle Susie got this done at all.
