    No, Calvin, you are not a prodigy. Not even Emil of Maple Hill was a prodigy (thanks, Astrid). This is a conversation that most parents probably should have with their non-genius children.

    There’s an error here. “Progeny” refers to descendants. I think Bill Watterson meant to say “prodigy”.
