A festering blight on our souls! Poncho: But why did you think of shooting them to the moon? Pops: I guess it's 'cause dogs tend to not really look up. Dog 1: Heh! That's true! It's our least favorite direction.

Unless, of course, they’re barking at a squirrel up a tree, or a cat up a tree, or a bird in a tree, or an airplane, or a cloud… (It’s amazing how little these guys know about dogs!)

The original plan (that I remember) was to catapult all cats to orbit around the sun. Why is it different now?

I guess the main goal is to make sure they’re not here. Just as long as they can’t come back! And yeah, the original cat catapult idea was into the sun, but remember, this is in the past so it’s the first iteration.Re: yesterday’s strip… I think Poncho’s legs are too short for Savate!
