When asking for directions, and someone says you can’t miss it, I know I am in trouble.

Of course you can’t get there from here. You have to go someplace else first! (For example you can’t get from your chair to your car without going to the door first.)

Wait a few days Ziggy. They’re still mapping The Twilight Zone. Bella & Edward are holding things up.

Yep! Mapquest is great. They have my address out in the middle of the golf course down the street.

i look at a map at the mall to let me know where i am…it reads..“you are here "

Back in the day, this same joke had the old timer at the side of the road saying “You can’t get there from here.” See how far we’ve come?

When my parents and go on vacation, I am the one that ends up planning the routes (I am the one in the front passenger seat. I don’t drive-never been comfortable driving.) I have run into map programs that have gotten Avenue and Street mixed up and, as mentioned earlier, sites that tell me someplace doesn’t exist when I know that they do. (If I remember correctly, both Yahoo maps and Mapquest were involved.)

More likely, nobody can get to where YOU are from anywhere. The rest of that joke is, “You can’t get there from here, you have to go somewhere else to start.”

Wow Ziggy, you look so HIGH TECH with your new computer and chair. Your decorator is really making you look good!

If you can’t get there from here that means somebody has to move. And indeed you did!
