Just sent a FB message to my numerous Italian contacts about “cualaccino.” it’s interesting that prior to the initial blog post about 2 years ago, there were no Google hits for that word. Now there are several, but they all seem to point back to the initial post. So I’ve asked them over there whether it’s a typo, or a dialectical term, or something that doesn’t exist. I’ll be interested to see what the consensus is.

Perhaps “cualacino” is “culaccino”? “Culaccio” is “rump” and so “culaccino” would be “little rump”…
