Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for April 12, 1990

Transcript:
Calvin: No TV for a week! What injustice! They think they've won, but they haven't! I'll show 'em! I refuse to learn a lesson! I'm indomitable! They can't change me! I'll sit in front of the TV all week even if I can't turn it on!
If I had done anything close to this when I was 6 years old, I still wouldn’t be able to sit down. And, since I’m now 74, that would mean 68 years of standing!!! That is, if I was allowed to survive!!!

You should have listened to Hobbes about behaving from the start.

When he has an attitude like that, it’s a wonder his parents don’t think about what he’d be like when he’s a teenager.
